Isle Access

Thanks to some generous donations, we have been able to purchase a fleet of adapted cycles, a storage facility, and other related equipment. This allows us to offer the opportunity and enjoyment of cycling to people who cannot ride regular two wheeled bikes.

We currently run our sessions from West Wight Sports and Community Centre.

The sessions will be held on the second Saturday of the month at West Wight Sports and Community Centre. However, the way we operate has had to change to meet all current guidelines.

We will be running 45 minute sessions with a maximum of 6 participants per session.

You will need to pre-book your session in advance using this platform, Eventbrite.

You will need to pay in advance for your session. Payment is via PayPal when you book using Eventbrite.

If you already own a cycle safety helmet, please bring this with you. This should be fitted appropriately to you and we can offer advice and support with this. If we feel it is not a safe fit, we will recommend you use one of our helmets to ensure a good, safe fit. All our safety helmets will be cleaned thoroughly with antibacterial solution, before and after use.

If you require physical support and guidance please attend with someone suitable to help you.

You will need to use the antibacterial hand gels provided as you enter and leave the cycle area.

Please observe the 2 metre distancing rules, unless with someone in your household/support network.

Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell please do not make any adjustments to the bikes yourself, ask for assistance from one of the volunteers.

Our next session will take place on;

Saturday 12 December 2020 at West Wight Sports and Community Centre, in the gym hall.
