So lovely to have the students back in school, they have been missed tremendously.
In Food Tech we have been making pancakes… lots of different types of pancakes. From crepes, fluffy American pancakes, German Apple Pancakes, Vegan pancakes, Gluten Free Pikelets … the list is endless, I never knew there were so many varieties of “pancakes”.
The students have been exploring different ingredients and next week we have even more variety in our recipes and toppings.
As always, we have been impressed with how easily the students have slipped back into being in school, and, especially in Food Tech, the enthusiasm they have during their lesson.
One of the highlights for me this week was this lovely smiley “crepe face” made by one of our year 11 students.
