Amelia’s Red Squirrel Walk

Amelia with the help of her family will be taking on the Red Squirrel trails from Newport to Sandown (10 miles) on either the 1, 2 or 3 May (weather permitting) in order to raise funds for the charity When You Wish Upon a Star who help make dreams come true for children with life limiting conditions.  We will be pushing Amelia in her wheelchair, with Amelia undertaking a short walk once every half hour or so.

We would love for you to join us by completing your own 10 mile walk across that weekend and if so we would like to suggest a minimum of £10 for each walker if you can afford to do so, alternatively, if you don’t feel up for a walk but still wish to donate, please feel free to do so.

To bring some extra fun to the proceedings, please join in with the red squirrel theme in some shape or form; we will leave it to your very active imaginations! Feel free to share with me though!

If you are able to pass around your friends and colleagues too, I would be most grateful You can donate to her JustGiving page by clicking here:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to When You Wish Upon A Star, so it’s the most efficient way to give – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
