Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Launch the Buddy Boat

We get together on Wednesday lunchtimes and have been talking about our respect badge and our differences. We said that we have to say about stopping people messaging unkind things and that we must respect our differences.

In anti-bullying week we wore odd socks, listened to videos and did work and art about bullying.

We made our own video where Owen talked and Summer signed, which was sent to everyone in school. We put up everyone’s anti-bullying work on the display board in key stage 3 and Nicole went with George to all the classrooms in key stage 3 on their own. Ophelia and Liam went to see the classes in the Sixth Form area.

We have started sanding and sorting out a buddy boat to help if someone has a problem. A buddy can then talk and help sort it out. They may also have a laugh and fun and make new friends.

We have green anti-bullying ambassador badges and a pink and gold buddy badge. We wear lanyards which were Summer’s idea. We have just been given the varnish, wood and paint for the boat and Leah suggested it be in sky blue with emotion words and quotes on the outside.
