Active Living
Active Living is an Activities and Training Centre for people with a disability living on the Isle of Wight. Our experienced team work with our members to provide sessions that support learning, confidence building, improve social skills, community integration and a platform for creative expression, all in an accessible environment at the heart of the community’s Riverside Centre.
What you can do:
Baking – Learn how to make delicious bakes and improve your skills
Active Life – Stay fit and healthy with our physical activities
Art and Craft – Express yourself with our range of workshops
Props and Costume – Create amazing show stoppers for our performances
Woodwork – Create and learn a wide range of woodwork skills
Active Explorers – Travel and experience fun and educational days out
Cook and Eat – Learn how to cook a two course meal from scratch
Upcycling – Recycling the old into something new
Dance and Drama – Grow your confidence and explore your talents
Computers and iPads – Learning for every level
Active Breaks – Stay fit and healthy with our physical activities

One to One
If you feel you need additional support to access any of these groups please contact us to ask about our one to one service. We could provide you with our onsite support workers depending on your needs to assist you with attending our sessions.
Extras
Some of our sessions we will also integrate other activities when appropriate, for example gardening for our cooking groups, computer skills, basic maths, time skills, customer service, basic life skills. If you require more information, please contact us.
