Sixth Form 1 have started weekly
community experience at Ventnor Botanical Gardens, working with Trish Brenchley.
Last week they drove down into the
gardens, singing the theme tune to Jurassic Park as they were all on their first visit and fascinated by the stunning plants and trees.
The first task was to remove dock leaves from a large area and to replant it with
daisies to begin a wild flower section.
They had the opportunity to speak with visitors to the gardens about the work that they were doing. It was a strenuous task, however, they worked as a team and are looking forward to returning.
