The roles includes:
· Assisting the Senior Leadership Team of the School to promote high standards of educational achievements.
· Reviewing Pupil progress towards targets, ensuring supporting evidence is gathered.
· Ensuring the school provides appropriate curriculum to meet individual needs.
· Helping to establish and maintain with the Head the aims and policies of the school.
· Helping to draw up(with the head and staff) the School Improvement Plan.
· Approving and monitoring use of the Annual Budget for the school.
· Ensuring Schools Financial Values Standards are met
· Helping to decide how to spend the school’s budget.
· Ensuring Health and safety issues are addressed.
· Agreeing the times of school sessions.
· Taking advice from the Headteacher and Senior Management Team on decisions to be made.
· The Governing Body as a whole is accountable for all the decisions to be made.
