It’s been a fantastic year in Food Technology and Hospitality across Key Stages 4 and 5!
Our Key Stage 4 students have now completed either their first or second year of the QM Home Cooking Essentials course, gaining awards in Silver or Gold. Every student has worked incredibly hard, showing dedication and creativity in the kitchen. The meals they have produced have been nothing short of amazing—well done to all!

A special thank you to Cemre, our brilliant Student Food Tech Assistant. She has been a real asset to the department and has especially enjoyed supporting in Sunflower lessons.
Meanwhile, our Key Stage 5 students have been working towards their QM Hospitality accreditation, with students achieving either Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. Their growth in maturity, independence, and confidence has been truly inspiring. A huge congratulations goes to Angel, Courtney, Valerie, and Sarah, who successfully passed their Level 1 Food Hygiene course, a fantastic achievement!
To celebrate all our learning this year, we will be sharing some of our favourite recipes in the St George’s Recipe Book, available to order this December. I promise it’ll be well worth the wait!
Thank you all for your continued support, I look forward to seeing you all in Cafe for the Summer Fayre.
