Next week we will be holding a football tournament in school on Tuesday afternoon in memory of a past student who loved every part of the game. Sadly Connor passed away in 2021, we felt it a fitting event to hold in his memory each year. We have invited students to create teams in their classes/year groups and they will play in mini leagues.
On the day we ask students who are playing to change into full PE kit including a change of trainers, students may wear Astro trainers or moulded trainers. We are also asking that students wear shin pads for the games so if your young person has some or you are able to borrow some then it would be greatly appreciated.
Football boots are not required or allowed for this occasion and will not be permitted due to safety.
Please can students bring appropriate drinks, sun hats, sun cream etc as we are hoping for a lovely afternoon. We will post some pictures on the website and newsletter after the event.
