Dear Students, Families Dear, Staff and Governors,

I am pleased to say that our new students are settling well into school life. We understand that this is challenging for many young people and it can take a while. Moving to a new school, Key Stage or class, is a big change for our students. It takes time to get used to the environment, curriculum, staff and peers. It is also challenging for existing students to adjust to changes. To reassure you all, we are building relationships and supporting students with our Teaching Positive Connections and therapeutic approach to supporting young people with their learning and social interactions.

Leon and I have been busy meeting with the Department of Education and completing various questionnaires and supporting surveys in relation to the rebuild programme which I notified you all of in the last newsletter.  Please watch out for the official publicity, which is due to be released on 3rd October.

I hope to see many of you attending our parent meetings over the next few weeks.

Have a good weekend and I hope that the weather continues to be kind to us.

Best Wishes
