I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and a peaceful two weeks before our return in January. This term has flown by and has been incredibly busy.
I would like to say how welcome students, families, staff & governors have made me feel as the new Headteacher and I am very grateful for this. I look forward to continuing working with you all next term.
This week we have had our gym decorated and it looks amazing. The painters and decorators have been very impressed with how welcome students and staff have made them feel during the week, they are keen to come back next year and work with St George’s again. They have done an amazing job on revitalising our gym, which was desperately in need of some attention. I am sure the students will be keen to get back to their indoor sports / PE lessons in January.
Our new term begins with Safeguarding Training for all staff on 3rd January and students will return on 4th January.
