St George’s School was able to remain open on Wednesday 1st February. I hope this helped to support families. All classes ran effectively and any changes to the timetable were minimal.
Sixth Form have been busy with their enterprise initiatives with one group writing to me requesting loans, complete with a business plan. Another group has been making bouquets of flowers, which are beautiful. As always, I am very impressed with how articulate they are with their requests, ideas and the products they design.
Just a reminder that we have our Moving on Morning on 21st February in the main hall. This event is open to parents, families and carers who are interested in the provision that is available when young people leave St George’s. A number of external providers are attending and it is an opportunity for you to explore possibilities and ask questions in an informal setting.
It has been lovely to see the sun out over the last few days. I hope that it will be the case at the weekend. Positive signs that spring is on its way.
