We have had another exciting and busy week at St George’s with some Key Stage 4 students accessing the Street Strong Workshop, which was extremely powerful.
St George’s Football Team played against St Catherine’s on Tuesday afternoon; their teamwork was impressive which reflected in the final score with a 1:0 victory. Well done to the team and staff involved.
Sunray Class visited Quarr Abbey and lit candles to experience quiet reflection in the Abbey. This was very successful and the students were a credit to St George’s.
All students at St George’s have participated in Safer Internet activities this week as our contribution to Safer Internet Day on 7th February.
We have managed to work with the NHS to reinstate a number of clinics at St George’s and so far this year we have had a paediatrician, orthotics and dietician clinic, and look forward to them being back in school on a regular basis as this is far less disruptive for our students.
I look forward to seeing many of you at our Moving on Morning on
21st February in the school hall, after what I hope is a very enjoyable half term for you all.
Best wishes
