Do you have a wealth of experience and knowledge to support our
Board of Governors?
A Parent Governor is the core part of a school’s Board of Governors. Governors set the ethos of the school and drive for continuous improvement. Even though this is a voluntary role, you get to oversee the financial performance and ensure that money is dispensed accordingly around the school. Within this role, there are opportunities to learn new skills and develop useful policies that will benefit the education of your young people.
If you are interested in becoming a Parent Governor at St George’s School, you can email the school’s Chair of Governors, Dave Piggott at dave.piggott@stgeorges.iow.sch.uk or contact the school office on 524634.
