Here at St George’s Studio, we are making the most of the autumn weather and encouraging the students to spend some time out in the fresh air making use of the outside space. We have been very lucky, thanks to a generous donation, to have taken delivery of 5 new bikes that the students have been using in and around the playground. These have proved very popular with all the students.
During the half term holiday, we installed two new basketball hoops in the playground. Again, these have been in use regularly during PE lessons and break times. We have seen both staff and students engage in friendly competition to see who can score more goals. It’s been great to see everyone getting involved in the game, and hopefully if the weather stays dry, there will be more opportunity to get out and use these fantastic new facilities.
St George’s Studio School will be closed on Tuesday 12th November for essential staff training. School will re-open Wednesday 13th November.
