Dear Students, Families, Staff and Governors
I hope everyone had an enjoyable February half term break.
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new teacher, Katie, to the Isle of Wight and to the community of St George’s. Katie is teaching in our Sunflower 4 class and is already very much a part of the team here. We are really looking forward to working with her.
On Tuesday, two of our KS4 students attended a Children’s Trust Event at the Riverside Centre. Both students had a great time and were very proud to share with Steff and myself that they had been confident enough to share their ideas independently without needing support from an adult. We have since received some extremely positive feedback from members of the Local Authority about their contributions and enthusiasm.
