Dear Students, Families, Staff and Governors
We have had a busy week, the Christmas production was fantastic and it was lovely to see so many students involved, including many of our Year 7 students.
Students have also enjoyed their Christmas dinner and Christmas Service this week, we finish on Friday with a Christmas disco for Key Stages 3 & 4.
On Friday, we say goodbye to Nikki Jackson, who has spent the last 10 years as our Annual Review Officer, she will be missed but we wish Nikki the best of luck in her new role. Thank you for all you have done at St George’s. I am sure St George’s will hold a special place in Nikki’s heart.
Lucy Wyld is also leaving us to start a new role. We wish her good luck and thank her for all her hard work. Yvonne Clarke, who previously worked in our Sensory classroom, will be returning to Sunflower. We look forward to welcoming her back after a change of career recently.
It has been a busy term; we are all looking forward to the festive break and time with our families. We very much look forward to returning on 6th January and welcoming all of our students back to school.
I hope that you all have a peaceful break and are able to spend time with your families over the festive period.
