Solent NHS took over the Special School Nursing provision for Medina House and St. George’s Schools in November 2021. Since then we have been getting to know all of the children to help support them to remain in school and healthy. However, we wanted to let you know that the current special school nursing team members have taken up other opportunities and will be moving on over the summer. We wish Anna, Dave, Kate, Helen & Lucy every success in their new roles and thank them for their incredible hard work and commitment to the team. We are looking at many ways to ensure that children in both schools receive the right support and we are currently recruiting to the team. Anna and Helen will be returning to offer some ‘bank’ cover and we will be updating and involving the Head Teachers of both schools with the recruitment process.
