Over the past two weeks, we have been formalising the timetable for students at the Studio site and implementing a range of structures and routines. The students have helped to develop a new rewards system for the site, which sees them earn points for each of their lessons based on the three areas shown. Over the course of the half term, the students can earn a range of rewards for reaching a percentage of the points available. This has proven to be a positive way to engage the students and our first rewards were given out this week.
We will be looking to add further systems of praise as we develop. We have also seen the students beginning to produce work in a range of areas and are really pleased with the positive steps forward we are all taking together.
