We are very excited to share the good news that we will have artwork on display at The Royal Isle of Wight County Show. Key Stage 3 students have been working hard during art lessons with Guy and Rachel to create silhouette artwork incorporating their ideas and this work will hopefully be exhibited at the show.
The students used various media reflecting the theme ‘My Place, Through My Eyes’. The charity Natural Enterprise wanted to display children’s interpretation of how the Isle of Wight is viewed through the eyes of the children that call this place home.
We are very proud to announce that we have submitted artwork from 56 Key Stage 3 students. Each artwork celebrates the individual’s depiction of their ‘place’.
The show is happening next weekend (12th and 13th July) at the County Showground in Northwood. The artwork will be exhibited alongside other schools’ artwork in the Education Area in the Show Farm marquee. We hope you can make it along to see the show and enjoy our talented student’s creativity.
