After successfully joining the Warhammer Alliance, the Sixth Form English class were fortunate to have the most amazing experience in the Warhammer Shop in Newport, supported by James Guy (Manager). After some initial technical support and homework from Charlie, the pupils have become familiar with the merchandise and hobby. They were shown how to assemble their own figure and to accurately paint the character to take home. James also gave St. George’s a selection of paints, brushes
and books so that they continue with their lunchtime project at The View.
The activity was linked to their English unit this term, which focused on the text of The Hobbit.
