On Tuesday 5th March, the Travel and Tourism Option group continued their journey with a visit to Wightlink.
Staff members warmly greeted them. Callum and Scott (Day Manager) took the students to the staff room to answer their questions about the company. Angel asked about advertising, career opportunities and skills required at Wightlink, later saying that the trip was the best ever. They were excited to be given the unexpected opportunity to walk onto the ferry once the decks had been cleared, meeting other staff; Dave (Brains) and Charlie (second in command as a Captain). The finale was to be offered a return visit where the students will be able to travel on a return trip as foot passengers.
