THE ROLE WOULD INVOLVE.
Assisting the Senior Leadership Team of the School to promote high standards of educational achievements.
Reviewing Pupil progress towards targets, ensuring supporting evidence is gathered.
Ensuring the school provides appropriate curriculum to meet individual needs.
Helping to establish and maintain with the Head the aims and policies of the school.
Helping to draw up (with the head and staff) the School Improvement Plan.
Approving and monitoring use of the Annual Budget for the school.
Ensuring Schools Financial Values Standards are met
Helping to decide how to spend the school’s budget.
Ensuring Health and safety issues are addressed.
Agreeing the times of school sessions.
Taking advice from the Headteacher and Senior Management Team on decisions to be made.
The Governing Body as a whole is accountable for all the decisions to be made.
