We were excited this week to welcome Marcia from the Cyber Ambassador Scheme, to deliver training to a group of Key Stage 4 and 5 students. The aim of the training is to provide students with the skills and confidence to offer support to their peers and to promote good digital citizenship across the school community.
The students worked very hard and completed the following areas of learning to earn their Cyber Ambassador badges and certificates:
- Critical Thinking
- Emotional Awareness and Resilience
- Digital Citizenship
- Online Wellbeing
These students will now be planning how they will pass on their knowledge to different members of the school community, possibly linking with the launch of the peer mentoring buddy boat. Marcia is looking forward to making a return visit in the Summer Term to see them in action.
Following this, we will be looking to train KS3 students to widen student input.
