We are the 6th Form Enterprise Group, ‘Timber Hugs.’ and we make and sell cosy tea lights for you to buy and put in your living rooms to shine your worries away. Our product is a tea light holder made from reclaimed Island wood and sold with an LED tea light installed.
We have been working hard planning and producing so we are ready to sell for Christmas.
We have recently pitched our company to a group of Island business people who were impressed and have invested in our product.
On Saturday 30th November, ‘Timber Hugs’, Our 6th Form Enterprise Group had a stall at The Quarr Abbey Christmas Craft Fayre. Half of the team were able to give up their day to run the stall and speak to customers about our products.

It was a long but enjoyable day! Things started a bit slow and it took nearly an hour to sell our first Timber Hug. Then things soon picked up and we ended up selling 20! We are so pleased to have made £100!
Damien, Dan and Melissa were fantastic ambassadors for St George’s and a pleasure to work with!
