On Wednesday, 7th October, our school community came together to celebrate Mental Health Day with a vibrant splash of yellow! Students and staff alike dressed in yellow to show support and raise awareness for the importance of mental well-being. Throughout the day, pupils enjoyed creating yellow-themed foods and took part in a range of well-being games and activities designed to promote mindfulness, teamwork, and positivity. At the end of the day there was an ice bucket challenge that students and staff took part in.
In addition, our students have been busy preparing their entries for the Self-Portrait Art Competition run by English Heritage. It has been wonderful to see their creativity and individuality shine through as they explore how to express themselves through art.
With just one week to go until our well-deserved two-week October half-term break, the energy and enthusiasm around school remain high. We look forward to a final week full of learning, creativity, and community spirit before everyone takes some well-earned rest.
